Hey lovies! You all know I have been trying to find a lip gloss that I can like, as well as lightening up my lipstick choices. I have a ton of new stuff that I’m trying out, but I found this review that should have been posted before now (btw, it is neither a gloss or a lighter color). This is the L’Oreal Extraordinaire Plum Adagio review. It’s going to be a quickie.
This lipstick review almost did not make it onto the blog. I am a novice photographer (as I’m sure you can tell if you’ve visited my blog before!). Reflective surfaces are NOT fun to attempt to photograph. Especially when you don’t have the proper setup/camera to do it. It took me this whole week to work on the pics. They aren’t perfect, so please pardon them. However, I did manage to finally figure out how to not get my crazy, blurry reflection on the tube. I was about to pull my hair out in frustration. So, I reckon in the future, packaging will influence what I review. Haha!
Anyways, onto this awful to photograph but gorgeous lipstick! It is a liquid lipstick. I wouldn’t really consider it a lip gloss.
It is a beautiful deep plum shade that applies like a gloss with a doe foot applicator. It is also super shiny like a gloss. What I love about it is that it is not sticky at all. If you like your glosses sticky, this will be a disappointment.
Aaaah, such a lush shade!
Since the color is so deep, it did settle into my lip lines, and bleed ever-so-slightly. The color wore between 2-3 hours before it needed a touch up. It fades completely. It is very comfortable, and I did not end up with any of it on my front teeth. It has no fragrance to speak of. This is the only color I’ve tried, but I believe the lighter shades will not have the settling/bleeding problem. I think it is just more noticeable with this particular color. I really like the formula, so I will be trying the lighter shades. Since that is my new goal.
Yes, I know the eyelashes are cray cray. I was playing around with double lashes. Definitely not easy to apply. So this also a PSA on how not to appear in public with your false lashes askew. You’re welcome.
Again, thank you for reading! kxoxo
